This is a rare GDA Limoges oval dish used for decorative purposes or for serving.  It has a hand painted grape design with the overall colors in lavender, blue and green.  It almost looks like a watercolor because of the faint brushstrokes.  I have seen a lot of Limoges and I think this piece is very unique.  It measures 13.5" long; almost 6" wide at the widest points and stands 1".  It is in very good condition except for a pinpoint chip in the green section near the grapes.  Not sure when this was made but I would assume early 1900's.  Thanks for looking at this dish and be sure to check out my shop, not2shabbyshop, for more fabulous finds!
