Falkland Islands 1938 KGVI pictorial issue one penny Violet and Black colour variety (1941 issue), bottom margin block of four with frame plate no. 1 inscription selvedge. MINT NEVER HINGED, F-VF centering. Bright colour. This can be a difficult colour for some to discern so one image shows the violet and black (left) under a purple-violet and black (right) for comparison. We guarantee this as a Violet and Black.

Falkland Islands material, 1938 and earlier, carries a 50% premium over CV for mint never hinged, after which our discounts apply.
