Akai MG614 6-Channel Mixer 4 Track Cassette Recorder. 

Selling for parts/not working due to a number of small faults - does record and play back but will need a service to get back to complete working order.

Some cosmetic marks commensurate with age (see pictures for reference - small white paint mark in front left, some small scratches and dents, and some tape residue) but nothing major, front leather arm rest is not currently attached to body but can be reattached. 

In mostly working order but has some issues.

- Red overload LED above Channel 4 slider is always on (does not affect function of channel).

- Cassette lid does not open on its own and must be opened manually by pressing the eject button and pulling the cover up from the top edge.

- One LED on the channel 2 mixer section (one of 12 LEDs indicated recording/playback level) has stopped working.

- Some pots and sliders can be slightly crackly given age.

- At times the function buttons on the font panel will stop reacting which is resolved by turning the machine off and on again - this is the most serious issue affecting function.

I have tested all channels, inputs and the effect send channels and all have worked fine with no issues, and I have recorded tracks using all channels with different instruments and haven't had issues with recording or playback (apart from the button function issue mentioned above).

I have tried to explain the condition as fully as possible and have tested as far as I am able to, however given its age it will need a proper servicing to get back to full working condition. Please let me know if you need any further information.
