This dashcam is battery-free, so it requires power (cigarette lighter adapter included). The advantage of this is that there is no internal battery to potentially explode if the car gets very hot. The dash cam works automatically. It starts recording when the engine is turned on and stops when it is turned off.

For better night vision, the interior camera uses a special lens that can detect ultraviolet rays in the sunlight, so the video will be purple. You can test it in places without sunlight.

We recommend using Samsung EVO or SanDisk High Endurance Micro SD cards. If you use the 64GB or 128GB card, please format the card on the Dash Cam before you use it. You can find the Format option on the menu.
