This is a 4 pin LightStrip connector for philips hue GRADIENT LightStrips. This is to add a Male Plug to the start of a LightStrip OFFCUT. The pins are gold plated.

Why throw away LightStrip offcuts you could use elsewhere for a minimum cost? These will help you to convert an OFFCUT of philips hue GRADIENT LightStrip to an Extension LightStrip.

Most other pin strips sold on ebay are of the wrong pitch size (2.54mm Pitch spacing, rather than what is actually needed).

Please note that these pins are intended to be soldered to the lightstrip. You cannot connect 2 lightstrips back to back with these pins, unless one of the lightstrips is upside down to the other. This is because one of the lightstrips would be backwards. If you would like to connect 2 Lightstrips back to back you will need a small OFFCUT Cable that you can twist so that the lightstrips are the same way up.

Directions

The pins will need to be soldered to a cut end. This will then add a male plug to the start of a LightStrip.

It is recommended that rather than cutting the strip at the cut line, you instead take them apart with a soldering iron. This will give you more surface area to solder with.
