Christian rare framed relic 1800s Veil of Veronica sudarium 

Authentic official real first class relic of the Veil of Veronica “sudarium”, from the original Veil exposed in Vatican. Saint Veronica from Jerusalem encountered Jesus Christ along the Via Dolorosa on the way to Calvary, when she paused to touch his face with her veil, the image of our Lord was imprinted on the cloth. The wooden frame is completely handmade and handcarved. The relic is an ancient copy on linen made in 1878 on behalf of His Holiness Pope Leo XIII and contains a small part of the textile from the real genuine Veil of Veronica exposed at St. Peter Basilica in Vatican, with the original seal of the Basilica that assures the integrity of the relic. Size of the frame approx 6x7.5 inches, 14.5x19 cm. The frame showing the signs of old age, but the relic is in good condition. Rare and unique item, lifetime guaranteed, an actual museum piece.
