New CD , Polish releaseĀ

The third studio album by Slums Attack considered one of the best items by many listeners is the phonographic debut of DJ Decks, who joined the project after Peja parted ways with Iceman. The disc resume forced by a distributor change differs significantly from the version Rychu prepared for Phonographics in 2013.

First the cover. The front has been taken under scrutiny again (it turns out that the previous production also contains an error on the front of the album which, with regard to the original 1999 release (Camey Studio) - is slowly becoming a tradition. As for the rest, the booklet is a 20 page booklet enriched with texts and archival photos. The album is released as a 2 CD with the bonus disc not containing remixes of the above mentioned disc (Abrasions-Remixy'99) as before. In place of 'Abrasions', Peja adds 20 instruments. The disc once contained 16 tracks - in this case disc #1 contains 4 bonus tracks which translates more instruments on CD 2.

What about the disc? If you are a listener to an old date then you know the "CNO" content perfectly well. The classics of "I Live What I Have", "Attitudes" or "Before a Miracle Happens" in the refreshed version are an authentic sign of those times. Characteristic of the first SLU albums, no guests (except for the nearest support team: Da Blaze, Aymaniakh), cut scout samples, rumbling feet and bass, all embellished with Decks' spraces (in one case even Peji) creates a climate that automatically transports you into the Polish rap realities of the 90s.

Several samples known for Rych's solo achievements, who in 1997 under the banner of Slums Attack released several tracks-they continued to inspire musically as the starting point for "Introduction" ("Negative Message") and "Western Part of Poland" ("Eastern or Western?") songs. and even older than "Such a Valley..." ("Violence" from 1996).

For this climatic pieces: "Why?", "This is how it should be" and the rocking strongly "You must believe" and "There will always be such a sound". This record is a full-fledged pass into the world of the music industry, even though the band had to wait a while longer. For the most part, the underlays produced by Peja strongly signal a change of the Coast. Time has shown that moving east was not a one-off action, as the duo Peja and Decks consistently reported until the concept sequel album "CNO 2".
