No radio, only interface.

You provide the radio, such as a Motorola GM300, Kenwood TK-761 etc and I will build the digipeater out of it. This listing does not include the radio. I may have a couple random VHF radios if different types, so please get in touch if you would like to have something with a radio. It will only add a small cost to the price.

After you make the purchase for an approved radio, I will provide a shipping address and will build the node then ship it back. The price here includes return shipping.

This will act like a gateway or repeater for your APRS network ( Typically on 144.39 but I can program for something else)

For I-Gate mode, this will relay all local traffic to the APRS.FI website. This is useful if beacons in your area don't make it to the APRS.FI website and you need more fill-in internet gateway coverage.

For DIGIPEATER mode, this will receive and re-broadcast packets over RF. This is useful if your area needs more overall APRS coverage and you tend to miss beacons from nearby transmitters. 

I can program this as both an I-GATE and a DIGIPEATER simultaneously.  

This runs the Dire wolf software and is already plug in and play  instructions for monitering the system are included with the purchase. Just connect to an ethernet connection and connect the APRS rig up to 12v power and it will start relaying traffic.
