This work was offered on June 3, 2015 at the sale of Parisian auction house "Binoche et Giquello" as a portrait of an unknown young woman and accompanied by a (questionable) attribution - "Ecole de Singry". In reality, this superior quality miniature on porcelain is a replica of well-known miniature ("Portrait of Mlle Exelmans") by Daniel Saint, which is housed at the Louvre (see our image). Additionally, there exists yet another Daniel Saint's other own replica, which belonged to well-known collection Pohl-Ströher" (see our image).
As we've found no information about Daniel Saint's activity as a porcelain painter, we choose to leave the question of this work's authorship open: it was either painted by Daniel Saint himself, or by one of (his contemporary) porcelain painters working in the 1820s in Paris (for example, see our web #36572).
