Offered for Sale is this Charming Wooden Transitional Victorian Mahogany Dresser or Jewelry / Trinket Box. The box possesses a key-lock escutcheon with NO KEY. The top lid has what appears to be a wooden oval frame around a lady in Victorian dress. The interior of the box has a red felt-like material bottom and top with the inner lid displaying 6 religious medals / charms. This lovely wooden box is in "as found condition". No attempt has been made to clean the box in anyway. This decorative Wooden Box would may a great addition to any early / vintage box collection.
Dimensions: Length 9 7/9" - Width 6" - Height 3 1/2"
Condition: - Fair Used Condition - The exterior of the box displays scratching, nicking, marring, paint loss and waviness to the insert in the frame on top of the lid. The interior of the box has the same imperfections as the exterior in addition to small tears in the felt-like material. The lid hinges are secure. There is no key for the lock. Please view the pictures and judge condition for yourself.
