Anlässlich des 100. Geburtstags von Viktor Kubal hat die Slowakei diese 10 Euro Silbermünze ausgegeben. Das Motiv zeigt ein Bildnis des slowakischen Karikaturisten, Trickfilmzeichner, Filmemacher und Regisseur sowie sein Geburts- und Todesjahr und die Aufschrift "VIKTOR KUBAL". Ebenfalls im Design enthalten sind zwei Figuren aus den Zeichnungen von Kubal. Die Rückseite zeigt Zeichnungen und Ausschnitte aus Kubals Zeichentrickfilm "Zbojník Jurko" sowie den Nennwert, den Ausgabestaat, das slowakische Wappen und das Ausgabejahr. Die Münze wurde aus 18 Gramm Silber in der Qualität Polierte Platte geprägt. Die Lieferung der slowakischen Gedenkmünze erfolgt im Original-Etui inklusive einem Echheits-Zertifikat.

On the occasion of the 100th birthday of Viktor Kubal, Slovakia has issued this 10 Euro silver coin. The motive depicts a portrait of the Slovak cartoonist, animator, filmmaker and director as well as his year of birth and death and the inscription "VIKTOR KUBAL". Also included in the design are two figures from Kubal's drawings. The reverse shows drawings and excerpts from Kubal's animated film "Zbojník Jurko", the denomination, the country of issue, the Slovak coat of arms and the year of issue. The coin was struck from 18 grams of silver in proof quality. The Slovak commemorative coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
