For sale this lovely and ver rare pair of Campagnolo wheels.

consists of:

-mirrorpolished high flange 24!! holes campagnolo PISTA/TRACK Record hubs

-NOS Never used MARTANO silver elox Tubular rims(also 24 holes:), and

- NOS ALPINA 1.8 mm spokes

The hub is fully restored, and hand polished. This was followed a professional lacing using only new/NOS period correct materials(rims and spokes)

Spacing: 100 mm on the front, 120 mm at the back

 No quick release skewers included.

Weights: 770 grs (front) and 801 grs(rear) !!!

These Record hubs are a perfect example of the Campagnolo's leading edge design, which the majority of the competitors could only follow with a few years delay, however since the machinery side of the production was not that well orgnaised the outer view could get close, but the mechanical engineering know how was very hard to copy. The rims are a legendary MARTANO, Silver elox. Light, yet durable, double eyeletted tubular rims. When my bike mechanic received them to lace he said Mavic would give an arm and a leg for this shape back those days. Martanos are frequently used for high end bikes, hence the name might be less known for the masses, however they are a shining star on the Italian bicycle production field. These were waiting some decades to now get reborn and making the new owner extremely happy.

To find a good quality high flange record pista hubset is already not an easy task, just as this is true for the rims, in 24 holes version it is even harder. This is a rare piece.

You will receive what you see on the pictures. I do my best for a bomb-proof packaging which is a rather time consuming process.

My goal is to make the new owner happy, so please understand that next to family commitments and this few hours work I cannot promise same day delivery.

I always ship with EMS or similar, which - theoretically - should arrive in about a week time.
