Vintage so dust and dirt present, minor craquelure. Minor stretcher mark impressions present. 2 Tears, both pictured Please examine pictures closely and ask any questions.

Jelena is the daughter of Alexander Dzigurski, I couldn’t find much except that she to the US from

Naples with her father Alexander Sr, and Mother Lenka.

“When Hilter’s army took most of his Navy unit prisoner (Dzigurski escaping), the artist fled from Tito’s communist regime via Italy and lived for a few months in Vienna. He and his wife Lenka and daughter Jelena departed Naples aboard the Marine Jumper and arrived in NYC at the end of 1949.”
