2. "Thomas Jefferson: Writings," a 2 volume set published in 1993. Vol. I (706 pages + 68 pages of notes and index, map at back) contains Jefferson's autobiography, A Summary View of the Rights of British America, Notes on the State of Virginia, Public Papers, Addresses, Messages, and Replies, and Miscellany. Vol. II (891 pages) contains Jefferson's letters.

The books are in near fine condition, with minimal wear to the covers, small amount of scuffing to the gilt page edges, unmarked interiors, tight bindings. The previous owner's name is written on the bookplates, but the bookplates have not been attached to the books.
