CYMA TAVANNES Small Second Square Case Manual Vintage Watch 1940's

Item Description

Year of manufacture/move: 1940s
Manual winding

Features/selling points: This time, I would like to introduce Cima's hand-wound watch. A vintage collection from the 1940s with the renamed "TAVANNES" inscription. This is a rare square model that uses a clamshell case that is said to be an impregnable fortress made of stainless steel.

The dial is a withered aging dial. A combination of all luminous numbers and a pencil hand. It has a good appearance design with a small seconds dial at 6 o'clock. The SS case has a small square form. The back cover is screwed. The band is equipped with a stainless steel bracelet made outside the company. It is a vintage watch that attracts watch fans.

CYMA: Cima (CYMA) is a watch manufacturer founded in 1862 by Joseph Schwaop, a watch dealer in Le Locle, the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. In 1876, automation was introduced for the first time in Switzerland at its own factory, and the official offer to the armed forces of each country was actively performed, and it developed as a global manufacturer with excellent technology and reliability. It is one of the leading brands that is still used around the world today.

Condition・scratches・breath pieces・accessories
Dial (Dial): Changes over time such as burns, stains, and dullness are observed. There is no fading of characters and memory. A needle, an index, the night airglow changes with time.

Case/back cover: There are scratches, scratches, and rust at the 10 o'clock position. There are no dents.

Windshield: Scratches and scratches are recognized. The daily visibility is sufficiently maintained when worn.

Bracelet: Made outside the company. Ready to install.

Method of operation: The knob on the right side of the case is the crown. Manual winding can be done in the same position.

Since this is a hand-wound watch, please use the crown to wind up the mainspring every day. The mainspring may break if the mainspring is wound more strongly than it stops, so please wind it up as slowly and gently as possible. Turn the crown to the right (clockwise) and wind it up by pushing it forward with the belly of your fingertip.

When the crown is pulled out and turned, the hands move and the time can be adjusted. There is no hack (second hand stop) function.

Accessories: Machine image.

Day difference/size: The daily difference is within 60 seconds in the 24-hour actual measurement. (There may be some difference in posture when mounting). Lug width is 16mm. The case diameter is 23mm (excluding the crown), the length (from lug to lug) is about 34mm, the thickness is about 8mm (including the windshield), and the maximum arm circumference is around 18cm.
