This is a great piece of unique ironstone that would be lovely mixed with other white Ironstone pieces!

I had never seen this copper luster pinwheel pattern before this one.

It is a large sugar bowl with lid. The lid fits perfectly but I am not positive that it is the original lid because it has a hole in the top for steam to escape similar to a teapot or coffee pot lid. The lid also has a chip as indicated in photos. See photos.

The bowl has a surface crack on the bottom third of the bowl. It does not go through and I cannot feel it with my finger. See photos.

I have seen other listings that say this is Staffordshire, but it is not marked so I am not positive.

I have also researched it to find out it is 1840’s to 1850’s.

There is minimal staining, mostly on the handles. See photos.

All measurements are included in the photos.

I also have the matching creamer which I will list next. (See my last photo to see both pieces). Only the sugar is for sale in this listing. Please check my other listings for more antique ironstone as well as many more vintage items. I am adding more every day!

I am happy to answer any questions BEFORE YOU PURCHASE.
