This large miniature with portrait of a captain of the 10th Light Infantry Regiment of the French Army (early period of Louis-Philippe; for comparison, see our image) is a work of unknown to us (we were unable to locate his name in any of the available reference sources; probably he was a sitter's brother-officer) artist De Rongerie.
