X9C104 is a 100-order digital potentiometer, specifically x9c102/103/104/503 series, resistance range of 40R ~ 100K, X9C104 contains an internal array of 99 resistors, between each unit and two endpoints are tapped points visited by the sliding unit, the position of the sliding unit is controlled by three inputs CS, U/D and INC, but once position is selected, it can be stored in non-volatile memory and can be recalled after the next power-up.
