Heavy-duty, antique door hinges made during the first half of the previous century. Each hinge is made of solid, heavy, thick steel.

We removed the hinges from various doors that we salvaged from Northeastern PA.
At the point of salvage, the hinges were painted, dirty, and  rusty (see last photo). Since then, we removed the paint, and cleaned them to the best of our ability.

Since the hinges were removed from a variety of doors that we salvaged, they were not all made by the same manufacturer. Depending on the quantity you purchase, we will try to give you the ones made by the same manufacturer. The manufacturers include: "Stanley  Mfg. Co." of New Britain, CT; "National Mfg. Co." of Rockford, IL; and "McKinney Mfg. Co." of Pittsburgh, PA

Considering their age, the hinges are in great condition. They all have the typical nicks and scratches that you would expect to find on old, used hinges, but there are no breaks, cracks, bends, or gouges. We greased the insides of the  knuckles before sliding the pins back in. Now, the hinges open and close  easily and most of the pins slide out with minimal effort.

There are new no hinges available today that are this well-made  and heavy-duty. Today's steel can't compare to the steel produced during the  time these hinges were made.

Dimensions:

3"W x 3"H
(measurement of both halves of hinges when open, and not including the ball finials)
