In this collection of essays emanating from the Southern Ute Indian Community Safety Survey, differences in attitudes and behaviors between Native American Indians and nonIndians are examined. Significant differences in attitudes and behaviors were found between the two ethnic and cultural groups. Culture, it was further found, plays a significant role in these differences.
