This short book is condensed from a doctoral dissertation, which aims to find out a more applicable model to manage the whole life of all records in all media in the information age. It is based on a study of archival theories and practices using content analysis, case study, and comparative methods. This study constructs a new model named "Interactive and Integrated Model for the Management of Documents, Records, and Archives (I2 DRA)." I2 DRA merges the advantages of lifecycle and records continuum models, bridges their gaps, and highlights information openness, information governance architecture, longterm preservation, risk management, and other critical characteristics.
