Photograph Notes: See [[2072169]] for background to the church. This is a view of the interior, showing the ornate apse (for a closer view and description see [[2072176]]) and the chancel. The chancel is flanked either side by a matching pulpit, lectern and ambo of carved ebony inlaid with other woods and mother-of-pearl. The chandelier above, one of a pair in the church, was modelled on one from St Sophia's Constantinople.
