this is a really nice rod in great condition.
8 1/2 ft. three sections. it has an additional tip section, which is only slightly shorter...see pics
ferrules have a nice pop and all sections are complete and straight.
it weighs in at 6 ounces.
this is one of the best vintage collectable rods i've had for some time.
i've tried to show as many photos as needed to examine this piece, more if necessary
this will not disappoint.
when I acquired this rod, since it has no identifying labels or markings, only the previous owners name neatly inked, I took it to Jim Adams, a now 90 year old fly, cane rod
expert in Berkeley Ca. for examination and verification of the maker, which he did. We spent quite some time going over several
pieces that I had had the good fortune of finding.
Also, Steve who now runs the Thomas fly rod co. looked at the rod and also observed the replaced Hardy style reel seat. He offered to possibly replace it with a more typical Thomas version this winter when business slows down a bit.

"Jim Adams fly fisherman", and his online shop and store can be googled and found on line..".Adams Angling"
if one would like to check credentials

thanks for looking.
