Photograph Notes: This old Series IIA Landrover has been parked here behind Millstone Farm for quite a while, it even shows up on Google satellite imagery! It appears to be holding the gate shut, a change from the usual length of baler twine. The old bath on the left has been recycled as a drinking trough, a sight common to many farms that have had new bathrooms fitted in the past. Although the Series IIA Landrover resembles the Series III, having headlights set into the wings instead of between them, there are some easily spotted differences- the radiator grill is a metallic mesh instead of plastic, The windscreen wipers on a Series III would both be lying in the same direction instead of pointing towards each other; it only had one wiper motor and the IIA had individual motors similar to its forerunner the Series II.
