On June 6, 1944, approximately 156,000 Allied troops landed along a 50 mile stretch of heavily-fortified coastline, to fight against Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy. Barbed wire was seen throughout the coastlines. The wire included in this display stands as a memorial to those who fought in the defense of freedom and represents the struggles and obstacles they overcame.

Each display/specimen will be slightly different.

The display measures approximately 4.0 x 2.75 x 1.0 inches. Only the acrylic display is included in the listing, not the full lengths of the barbed wire.
