This uncirculated Brazil 1 Cruzeiro Novo on 1,000 Cruzeiros Banknote, 1967 ND is part of the Provisional Cruzeiro Novo series issued from 1966 to 1967. It is a blue, tan, orange, and purple note that bears the signatures of Denio Chagas Nogueira and Octavio Gouvea de Bulhoes. Its obverse side contains a portrait of explorer Pedro Alvares Cabral and a black circular BANCO CENTRAL 1 CRUZEIRO NOVO overprint. Its reverse side depicts the PRIMEIRA MISSA (First Mass) done in Brazil in 1500. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. Its dimensions are 157 mm x 67 mm. The note was withdrawn from circulation in 1973.
