Sound Sensor Module

The sound module is the most sensitive to environmental sound intensity and is generally used to detect the sound intensity of the surrounding environment. Using LM393 comparator output, the signal is clean, the waveform is good, and the driving ability is strong, exceeding 15mA. Equipped with fixed bolt holes for easy installation and fixation. The blue digital potentiometer can adjust the sensitivity.

Output form: Digital switching output (high and low levels of 0 and 1)

Instructions:

VCC is externally connected to a voltage of 3.3V-5V (which can be directly connected to a 5V microcontroller and a 3.3V microcontroller), GND is externally connected to GND, and the power indicator light will light up.

Place the module in a quiet environment, adjust the blue potentiometer on the board until the switch indicator on the board is on, and then fine tune it back until the switch indicator is off, and then a sound (such as high five) will be generated near the sensor, and the switch indicator will be on again, indicating that the sound can trigger the module.

When the ambient sound intensity of the module does not reach the set threshold, OUT outputs a high level. When the ambient sound intensity exceeds the set threshold, OUT outputs a low level.

The digital output OUT of the small board can be directly connected to the microcontroller, and the microcontroller can detect high and low levels, thereby detecting the sound of the environment.

The digital output OUT of the small board can directly drive the relay module of our store, which can form a voice controlled switch.
