The Thailand 100 Baht Banknote from 2004 was issued to commemorate Queen Sirikits sixth cycle birthday celebration on August 12, 2004. Its obverse side features King Bhumibol Adulyadej in military uniform and Chakri Dynasty royal robe, and Queen Sirikit wearing a tiara. The kings monogram and Royal Garuda emblem are printed above the royaltys portrait. Its reverse side features the royal ceremonial emblem of the Queens sixth cycle birthday, and a portrait of the Queen in many occasions including a seated King Rama IX touching the forehead of kneeling Queen Sirikit during an investiture ceremony, Queen Sirikit cradling Princess Ubol Ratana, and Queen Sirikit wearing a tiara. Added to the back design are five elephants in the forest, a vase, case, golden peacock, roses, cattleya, and dona flowers. The note is 162 x 72 mm in size and does not contain any security threads however when placed under a UV light, a watermark image of Queen Sirikit is visible.
