1950’s Zenith Trans-Oceanic AM/Short Wave Radio

For sale is Zenith short-wave/AM radio. This item is dated to the 1950’s and was rebuilt in 1977. Radio has been tested for functionality and I was able to pick up one or two AM stations from my home and adjust the volume. However, I cannot offer any information regarding shortwave as I am not familiar with this. If you have questions please feel free to ask and I will do my best to respond accurately. (Please note that this item is on display in my antique booth and providing answers to questions may be slightly delayed). On lower panel there is a business card for “The Transistor Clinic” located in New Bern, NC. I would describe the case to be in moderate to good condition. There is one front lower hinge that is disconnected but does not impede movement. There is also some fraying on stitching and visible surface scratches to the outer shell. of some scrapes on case itself. This item is very pretty with a cool look and a great piece to add to a collection.
