Nymphoides peltata is a water fringe, a British wild native submerged water plant. These pond plants have yellow fringed flowers that are held 2 - 3 inches above the water and floating, waterlily-like mottled heat-shaped leaves. They are suitable for outdoor tubs, ponds and lakes in full sun and semi-shade and have a water depth of 15 - 90 cm over the soil.
