We present a charming watercolour study, an expansive landscape across fields flooded after the rains, ascribed by the artist John McGain to verso, ‘Waterlogged’.  Northamptonshire artist John McGain is a prolific painter of landscapes in watercolours; he is also interested in the abstract form, working as a professional painter since 2000. His style is typically in an impressionist hand, of which this is a fine example. Dated 2006, the painting is partially labelled to verso, possibly an exhibition or art society presentation, numbered 291. .    Presented in excellent condition in its original frame, this painting will look fabulous displayed.
