This beautiful Gold coin is the first issue of the "Prague Spring" series, dedicated to the historical period of political liberalization from Soviet Union that occurred in Czechoslovakia in 1968. The coin has a Proof quality and a stunning design. It comes in a black leather case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 300 pcs worldwide! The beautiful reverse depicts the profile of Alexander Dubček, leader of the Czechoslovak Communist Party at the time of the Prague Spring, surrounded by a flock of birds. Inside the profile is a reproduction of the iconic image of Dubček jumping into a swimming pool, with the inscription: "SOCIALISM S LIDSKOU TVARI"- the name of the coin in Czech. The obverse depicts the torn barbed wire with birds flying to freedom. In the center of the obverse, the Public Seal of Niue and the inscription: "TEN DOLLARS" - the face value.
