This Atwood gas powered toy outboard engine may date back to the 1950's.
The engine is untested and has not been started although the engine does not look like it has been used much. The engine is in great condition the pull string red mechanism on the top of the engine does not have any deep rope burns on it. The prop on the lower shaft is also in great condition although it does not turn over with the engine and the shaft may be broken. The engine does turn over nicely and seems to be in good condition. The fuel mixture wire also works well. The engine is about 5 ¾ inches tall and at the top of the motor it says “Atwood Outboard Montrose Calif Pat Pend” and on the engine it says “Atwood .049”. Please note the plastic stand shown in the photo does not come with the engine.
