The pen is activated by charging. Just charge the pen for 3-5 seconds is enought to turn it on, and then you can write and draw on your ipad.

If your ipad is newer than 2018 and if your ipad is with 8pin port, please operate as below:

1) Insert the 8pin Port into the IPAD to Activate the Stylus Pen;

2) Connect the bluetooth Pair. Go back to the leftmost home page, you will see the power of the pen displayed on the screen

3) Write and Draw on your iPad;

4) Charging way: Connect the charging adapter with a charging cable to charge the pencil;

If your iPad is with a support wireless charging function, there is a magnetic adsorption position on the side of your iPad, then please operate as below:

1) Attach the pen beside your ipad;

2) Click" Settings" and open the bluetooth;

3) Click the "Pencil" on the screen, and click the "bluetooth pair"; Go back to the leftmost home page, you will see the power of the pen displayed on the screen, and now the pen is charged by your ipad;

4) Now you can use the pencil to write and draw on your ipad
