British made Cotter Pin Joints for mohair teddy bears, dolls & other toys

Cotter pin joints enable your teddy bear (or other creation!) to have moving arms, legs and head.  One bear will usually need a pack of 5 cotter pins (assuming it has two arms, two legs and one head).  

You can choose from the following pack sizes:- 

• 5 cotter pin joints (5 cotter pins, 10 washers and 10 hardboard disks).  

• 25 joints (25 cotter pins, 50 washers and 50 hardboard disks)

• 50 joints ((50 cotter pins, 100 washers and 100 hardboard disks)

Cotter pin joints also come in different sizes (the size relates to the diameter of the disk, eg a 21mm joint has a disk that measure 21mm in diameter). 

A 21mm cotter pin joint is usually used for medium sized bears around 20cm in height) and a 64 mm would be used for a large toy, however, this will vary depending on the pattern for the toy.  

You can choose from the following disk sizes:-

• 21mm (approx 7/8")

• 25mm (approx 1")

• 30mm (approx 1 1/4")

• 35mm (approx 1 1/3")

• 44mm (approx 1 3/4")

• 64mm (approx 1 1/2")
