"At the Villa d'Este in Tivoli by Rome" - a lithograph by the well-known Austrian artist Gottfried Seelos (1829 Bolzano, South Tyrol - 1900 Vienna) after a painting by the Czech artist Johann Novopacky.
Landscape and architectural painter and lithographer Gottfried Seelos was born in 1829 in Bolzano and died in 1900 in Vienna. He was a pupil of Jos.Sellenys, whose sister he married. The artist lived mainly in Vienna and was an outstanding landscapist who worked in oil and watercolor. His paintings can be seen in museum collections of Innsbruck, Vienna, Bolzano.
