I believe this US Divers/Aqualung inflatable vest/lifejacket was the direct predecessor to today's BC's (Buoyancy Compensators) and is impossibly rare. How rare? I scoured the Internet and could not find a single such model vest. It would be perfect for a museum. (I know at least one such museum for US Divers scuba equipment, mostly regulators.)

As you can see, at least cosmetically, the vest, which dates from the late 60s/early 70s, is in extremely good condition. l know of a couple of issues: the vest has a significant leak and the zipper to the CO2 inflator mechanism pocket is not functional. However, the inflator mechanism itself is still functional, I believe, but the CO2 cylinder must be replaced as the one shown has been used. As with all used items I list, it is sold in "AS-IS" condition only, seller makes no warranties, expressed or implied.

Quoted shipping costs are for the 50 US states only. Ebay will calculate and handle the shipping to all other locations.
