"L'Armee Francaise Sous La Restauration 1814-1830" is a large 653 page, 9.75"x13.5" hardcover published in 2005 by Editions du Canonnier (Nantes, France) in a limited, numbered edition of 400 copies (this being No. 241). All text is in French but there are only a handful of introductory pages, followed by full-page, color reproductions of hundreds of illustrations by Auguste de Moltzheim originally issued in the 1800s and depicting various types of French military uniforms as they appeared during the Bourbon Restoration.

The book is in very good condition, with no dust jacket (as issued), in the original slipcase. The gilt-decorated, blue cloth boards are protected by clear mylar and show minimal wear. The spine backing should probably be flush with the text block but has pulled away (see last photo). There are no internal marks, and the binding is sturdy. The all-gilt page edges have a few small scuffs and scratches. The laminated slipcase shows light rubbing and scuffing.
