MTP 15HD A

The Extron MTP 15HD A Series is a flexible line of MTP twisted pair transmitters and receivers for transmission of converted VGA and mono audio signals over long distances through a single unshielded twisted pair cable. These devices are capable of supporting resolutions up to 1920x1200 and can cover distances of over 185 meters for XGA signals and over 135 meters for UXGA signals.

The MTP 15HD A Series is particularly suitable for systems that require transmission of high-resolution video signals over long distances to a display, in situations where duct space is limited or when cables need to be hidden. These devices are ideal for applications such as public information displays in airports, museums, screening rooms and hotels.

The MTP 15HD A Series transmitters and receivers are compact, and the MTP T 15HD A transmitter sends high-resolution RGBHV video and audio signals to a compatible MTP RL 15HD A unit or MTP RL 15HD A SEQ receiver. MTP 15HD A Series models that do not support CAT 7 cable can be used with CAT 5 twisted pair cable or Extron Skew-Free UTP AV cable. The MTP RL 15HD A receivers offer separate, variable level and peaking adjustments to optimize image quality over UTP cable lengths. Thanks to their compact format, MTP devices can be flexibly mounted in equipment racks, under tables or next to a projector.

Additionally, the Mini Twisted Pair MTP RL 15HD A receiver features a buffered MTP F output that allows you to connect up to eight receivers in series and reduce the number of parallel cables needed.

Finally, the MTP RL 15HD A SEQ receiver features a built-in equalizer to compensate for skew effects. This equalizer helps correct delays caused by small signal alignment discrepancies within the twisted pair cable, ensuring reliable, high-quality transmission of video and audio signals.
