Bugatti was the first car manufacturer to take over the eyewear market, recognizing them as an essential part of luxury accessories. Back in the late 1960s, Bugatti developed the first eyewear designs that were as unique and quality as the Bugatti sports car.

Bugatti's teardrop shape has become the trademark of all frames and sunglasses. In doing so, Bugatti has focused on the shape of the radiator of luxury cars, which is always facing down. This distinctive glass shape of all Bugatti frames was designed exclusively for male customers and even seemed sad on some faces.

This is why opticians often refer to old Bugatti glasses as "teardrop" glasses. But although the Bugatti collection consisted exclusively of men's glasses, and the design remained almost unchanged over the decades, the "tear shape" sold extremely successfully. Even female customers enjoyed this original shape and turned men's glasses into women's glasses.

However, the fact that Bugatti has always stayed true to its design is not the only reason for the success of these vintage sunglasses. Bugatti has also managed to combine the unique advantages of form with outstanding quality and original design details.

Hinge to hinge measures 135 mm, from the bottom to the highest point of the frame 40 mm, temple length 140 mm.
