This charming early 20th c. solvered copper Japanese cigarette box features a garden architectural scene on its lid with an arched wooden bridge, trees and two or more pagodas in the background.  The sides are embellished with birds (or possibly cranes) soaring over ocean waves.  The box is in good condition with just normal wear to the silvered surface.  The underside of the box is a bit more worn.  The interior of the box is lined with cedar.  I believe it was intended as a cigarette box.  It is 3.25" wide x 2.75" deep x 1.25" tall.  I think it dates to c. 1910'
