"Zaragoza" is a 793 page, 7"x9.5" softcover written by Luis Ramirez Fentanes and published in 1962 by Secretaria de la Defensa Nacional, Departamento de Archivo, Correspondencia e Historia (Mexico). All text is in Spanish. It's a biography of Mexican general and politician Ignazio Zaragoza Seguin, who at the 1862 Battle of Puebla lead a ragtag Mexican army to victory against the French.

The book is in good condition. Bound in full leather, it appears to have been a 1965 gift to US General Hewitt T. Wheless, a World War II hero and then Air Force assistant vice chief of staff - his name is embossed at the bottom of the front cover. The leather is sunned at the spine, lightly worn at the edges, shows several small scratches and spots, a minor indentation along the front right side edge. It's starting to crack near the front. The interior is age-toned due to the inferior paper used. There are no internal marks.
