STUNNING vintage 1920's Saks Fifth Avenue Edwardian style women's overshirt blouse with lace front and sheer linen back, with snap enclosure to front and entirely open sides, with loops and hanging wraparound ties for side enclosure. The lacework is absolutely exquisite and extraordinary - vintage lace handiwork at its absolute zenith. Subtle tonal contrast, with the lace a slightly darker ivory than the solid linen back and bottom border. This is perhaps the finest piece of vintage women's wear I've offered, and it's in fine condition to boot - free of stains, breakage, or holes - museum-worthy condition (and indeed, if Saks had a fashion museum, this piece would be in it). Vertical design to this - the dimensions are 14" across the chest and 21.5" in length from top of collar to hem (the back panel is slightly shorter).
