Unique Photo Collage to Bridge the Centuries, Subject is 1918 Spanish Flu Medical Masked Flappers in Model-T Car, 9 1/2" Pottery & Resin/Acrylic Plate, Handcrafted

Object: This auction is for a very unique photo collage - an ironic bridge between the centuries. It is a round, hand crafted, wheel-turned, pottery plate that is glazed a metallic, gun-metal gray. The center of the plate is raised and is filled with a clear resin or acrylic that protects the underlying black and white photo collage with colored accents. The subject is 2 flapper women in probably Model-T cars. There are thought provoking and contrasting visual accents of vibrant pink and golden flecks around the center's rim. The plate's bottom foot rim is coated in a powdery plaster as if this were an unfinished work, maybe part of a larger construct that didn't materialize. No table-top display or hanging hardware included in this auction.
