1973 Yamaha AE-12 Hollowbody Archtop Guitar Tobacco Sunburst w/Hardshell Case

For Sale, we have a vintage Yamaha Archtop guitar. Excellent for chopping your favorite rootless voicings on, this expertly crafted Japanese-made jazz box will be the cats’ meow at your preferred late-night jam sesh. Bringing a distinctly uptown vibe, this guitar plays effortlessly. Roll down the tone a bit for an added warmth that meshes perfectly with the mix, yet retains touch sensitivity that drives dynamics and will take your playing to a new level.

This instrument qualifies as a bonafide time-capsule. It’s aged excellently, and appears every bit as fresh as the day it left the factory. The finish and pickguard have some extremely light handling scratches, but other than those, the wear is nearly nonexistent. The pickguard has warped a bit, due to age, though.

The guitar has been professionally setup with fresh strings set to low, easy action. The fretboard has been conditioned and the frets have been polished. The electronics have been cleaned as well. It also includes a hardshell case for safe transportation and storage.
