Elegant antique to vintage French F. Legrand & Co. Limoges 8pc lidded pot de creme, cream or custard pot set with "Greek Key" & gold enamel decoration and matching 11.25" serving tray!  This set just in from France and I'm thrilled that they all arrived intact.  A beautiful serving set, seventeen pieces total when you count the pots, lids and tray.  All have the same maker marks for F. Legrand.  This logo was used between 1865 and 1922 on porcelain tableware. It shows a star encompassed by two half-moons, bearing the inscriptions 'Limoges' and 'France'. This logo was often combined with the name 'F. Legrand & Cie Limoges France'. Given age and use, they are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. F. Legrand & Cie was a Limoges porcelain maker active from 1870 to approximately 1949.  A beautiful set!

Very good condition.  As you can see in the images, there is some wear to the gold enamel in places but they're all in overall wonderful shape.  I wrote "cobalt" in the second image title but I'll have to check that again to make sure.  It's either a cobalt blue or black "Greek Key" style design in the gold bordering.  See pictures for all measurements.

Insurance has been eliminated as an option by ebay, forcing us sellers to either ship your items without insurance or assume that expense also. We always insure our items BUT, more importantly, pack them extremely well knowing that most are not replaceable. Our shipping days are Tuesday and Friday, paid items will be shipped on the first shipping day after payment is received (except when special circumstances exist). We prefer to use USPS whenever possible, and require all packages to be insured. If you prefer another method of shipment, please mention it. We charge only actual expense of shipment/insurance, except in the case of larger items which must have special wood crates built. Wood crate charge, when applicable, is a flat $35.00 in addition to actual postage & insurance charges.
