For sale is this incredible authentic iron medieval antiquity found in Central Europe. This decorative piece likely once served as the backing to a medieval mirror, or similar tool. Its decorative appearance suggests that this would have been owned/used by someone in the upperclass, and would have once been quite the pricy piece. It has a floral/decorative pattern around one side, and a plain reverse (that suggests it might have once held something there). It appears to once have had a handle or other piece, but this has since been lost to time. Ex. US private collection C. 1990’s, previously German private collection. This piece would be an incredible display piece, conversation piece, decor piece, or addition to any collection. Don’t pass it up!
