This used 20 German reichsbank note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a brown and green note that is dated 22 January 1929, bear the signatures of Shacht & Dreyse, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and Schneider, and measures 160 mm x 180 mm. Its obverse side features a B underprint letter, a black Reichsbank seal, and a portrait of inventor Werner von Siemens. Its reverse side shows seated cherubs with tools and a medallion of a man holding a hammer. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of Werner von Siemens and an embossed control seal. The note was withdrawn from circulation in 1948.
