COLBY'S NEVADA AND DUTCH FLAT EXPRESS
George H. Colby operated this express between Nevada City and Dutch Flat, California via the mining camps of You Bet and Red Dog from 1860 to 1861.
He sold out to W. D. Long, who operated the express until 1862 when he sold to a man named Hickman on October 11, 1862.
Colby's frank was a fancy printed one;
only a few are known to exist.
