Truss-head screws have a much lower head than a round-head screw so they do not protrude below the truck side-frames.

The car body bolster has to be “tapped” #4-40 about 50-60%; pre-drilling is not necessary

The truck wobble is now adjustable.

Test Car weight before installation of the screws = 0.6oz

Test Car weight after the installation of the truck screws = 0.6oz.

FYI: a #4-40 tap will fit the largest jaws of a “Pin-Vise”
